During 2001, 2003 or 2004 you were a participant in a GE Energy Health Care
Teams cardiovascular screening and counseling event Your results
indicated you were at risk of developing Diabetes Mellitus because of the
presence of metabolic syndrome risk factors Since that time we have
developed a new program to prevent diabetes in high-risk employees called
Diabetes Prevention @ GE Energy I would like to invite you to join this
program because I believe that it can play a major role in reducing your
risk of becoming a diabetic
Tiana Howland, RN will serve as the manager of this risk reduction program
The Diabetes Prevention @ GE Energy allows Tiana to serve as your coach
and advisor as you take important steps to improve your health The
program consists of 10 group sessions over six months; each session is up
to one hour long
Please consider joining Tiana on May 10, 2004, when she kicks off our new
program You can come listen to what the program entails, visit with Tiana
and ask any questions you might have about he program We hope at the end
