Come out and enjoy a healthy, low-impact morning walk to bring a greater
awareness to diabetes this devastating disease that affects as many as 3
million Americans Teche Action Clinic is sponsoring the one 1 mile walk
in conjunction with its Community-Wide Health Fair in observance of
National Minority Health Month Anyone can take part in this event-your
participation will not be measured by how fast you walk, but by the level
of your enthusiasm and your commitment to help change the face of diabetes
in this country
T-shirts will be given to the first fifty 50 participants to register
Participants will be eligible to win a Flat Screen TV
After the Diabetes Walk, join us at Broussard-Harris Recreation Center for
the Health Fair Free health screenings will be provided starting at 10:00
am
