KIDS WALK TO CURE DIABETES
NES has an awesome opportunity to help our classmates, friends and
neighbors
On Friday, October 12th we will walk together as a school to raise
funds to assist the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation JDRF in
finding a cure for diabetes During the week of October 8th your
teachers will be collecting any spare change that you can donate to
this wonderful cause You may give all donations to your teacher
anytime that week On October 12th every grade level will walk
during specials time to support the JDRF Your teacher will bring
your class donations when you come to walk We will also be wearing
red to show that we are united in our efforts
Everywhere we go, people want to know, who we are and we tell
them
We are the Knights of Newtown Elementary and we DO care
