Trenton, Mich—September 22, 2008—The Michigan Institute for Health
Enhancement MIHE, the chronic disease management division of Rochester-
based Medical Network One, announces that an Open House for Health
Enhancement will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 from Noon to 3:00pm
MIHE staff will be on hand to introduce the community to MIHEs renovated
Trenton facility, which includes a gym, and its comprehensive wellness
programs, including weight management for adults, tweens and children,
mental health, and diabetes self management programs MIHEs Trenton office
is located at 2865 West Road in the West Park Professional Center, across

Highlights of the Open House for Health Enhancement include:
Healthy sandwiches, beverages, fruit and snacks offered at no charge
Exercise specialists, nutrition experts, mental health experts,
wellness coaches and health educators
will offer advice and
demonstrations on wellness, diabetes self management, easy and
beneficial exercises, smart meal planning, and sensible restaurant
eating tips for adults and children
Blood pressure checks
Body Mass Index BMI assessments
Waist circumference checks a new predictor of those at risk for
diabetes
Gift certificate drawings for MIHE services must be present to win
Prizes raffled off each hour must be present to win
Free gas card for guests who enroll in any MIHE or Medical Network
One program offered during the open house
Childrens Autumn-themed activities, including a free pumpkin from
the pumpkin patch and snack packs that include healthy eating
information
