Lancer Baseball Families,
As you may recall, you were given information at the booster club
meeting a couple of weeks back about JDRF Walk to Diabetes As a baseball
program, we will be supporting one of our players, Robby Mansfield, in the
walk
Ideally, I would like to ask that all players attend the walk at UC
Irvine However, I understand that this may not be possible, especially
given the fact that we are committed to the Buddy Walk the Sunday before
I am hopeful that each of our families would consider supporting Robby in
this journey to find a cure for diabetes
There are a couple of options you may wish to choose: go to Robbys
website and donate money or sign up to participate in the walk event
Below, I have listed the website you can go to for donations or to sign up
On the day of the event, you may choose to have your son attend the event
we will have a group designated somewhere or you may choose to walk as
well If at all possible, please sign up in advance, as every walker will
receive a Strike Out Diabetes t-shirt to wear the day of the event
