Results cont
Many of the 18-24 year olds made comments such as: I dont think that I am risk for any of these disease I am not fat, so I cant get high blood pressure or diabetes
Conclusion
I would have to reject my hypothesis The results showed that the focus group 50-80 year olds did not find the manual accessible or understandable The focus group 18-24 year olds, however, found the information in the book understandable and on a level where the information could be helpful if they thought they might be affected
Future Research
The manual should be revised for certain age groups It should not span a large gap in age, but be age specific taking into consideration demographic religion, social
background, age, and education
