promising and best practices, cultural competency, grant funding and
institutions of higher learning with health and medical programs

resources This directory was created to assist community- and faith-based

The American Society of Bariatric Physicians ASBP is a nonprofit medical

Florida Camp for Children and Youth with Diabetes FCCYD
Floridas first diabetes camp was organized
by Wilma Van Der Beek in 1962
under the auspices of the Florida Diabetes Association Camp Fladia Over
the next 8 years it grew from 40 to 85 campers per summer Florida Camp for
Children and Youth with Diabetes FCCYD was incorporated in 1970 by Dr
Arlan Rosenbloom Thirty-four years later, FCCYD serves over 600 youngsters
ages 6-18 at its seven summer sessions and another 500 youngsters and their
families in weekend sessions throughout the year

Asian American Diabetes Initiative AADI
The AADI was established in 2000 by Joslin Research Director George L

Running Strong for American Indian Youth
The mission of Running Strong for American Indian Youth is to help American
